"We contacted Higher Ground Landscapes, to produce a full landscape design for our rural property north of Hamilton. We wanted to extend our outdoor living space to provide an area for us to enjoy the rural outlook and entertain guests. We wanted a plan that would work with the house and the surroundings, as well as being suitable for our hilltop location. "We engaged Higher Ground Landscapes to do the landscape design for the garden area of our townhouse in Mount Eden, Auckland. It is a small site with some difficult steep areas. In particular, we wanted to include some raised gardens and a pergola to link the garden area with the house itself. We found Higher Ground extremely obliging, prompt, attentive and knowledgeable. They asked lots of questions about what we thought we wanted and discussed types of preferred plants and foliage. After getting the information, they went away to work on the design. "We happily recommend the landscaping services of Higher Ground Landscapes. They created a garden for us under an existing pergola adjacent to our courtyard. They worked to a plan we’d prepared but which needed some adjustment to be practically implemented.
